The Amaretto Sour experienced a surge in popularity in the 1970s due to the rising popularity of amaretto liqueur in the American market and the era's embrace of new, easy-drinking cocktails, becoming a signature "disco drink". While its early popularity waned with the introduction of artificial sour mix, the drink saw a resurgence in the 2000s, with modern bartenders creating refined versions that use fresh citrus and egg white for a more complex and textured cocktail, solidifying its status as a beloved classic. Make it extra decedant and garnish with Luxardo Maraschino Cherries!
Kit includes: Lazzaroni Amaretto Liqueur (750ml), Old Grand Dad 114 Proof Bourbon (750 ml), Ms Betters Bitters Miraculous Foamer, Crafted Classic Simple Syrup
