Undercrown by Drew Estate is a mesmerizingly delicious smoke that was, as the story goes, born out of Drew Estate’s Torcedores or cigar rollers who crafted their very own cigar to smoke on the job. Regardless of its origins, the Undercrown Gordito is an unforgettable experience that will excite the senses like never before!
The Undercrown Gordito is a hefty 6” x 60 cigar that is comprised of a dark Otapan Negro Ultimo Corte wrapper from Mexico, a Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut & Cured Habano binder leaf and a luscious blend of Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan Cuban Seed filler tobaccos. The result is a thickly textured smoke of over an hour.
Once the beefy Undercrown Gordito is underway, rich licorice, wood and earth flavors settle onto the palate. Hints of vanilla and hickory are prevalent throughout while subtle hints of coffee, leather and molasses also make appearances. A voluptuous medium-to-full bodied smoke finishes with a memorable flourish that is creamy, satisfying and long.
A big smoke for refined tastes, the Undercrown Gordito has been a megahit with connoisseurs from day one and should be considered an amazing addition to any humidor. The Undercrown Gordito is truly a unique smoke that is a perfect celebration of the hard working folks who craft each and every Drew Estate cigar.
