My Father Blue Toro
The Toro is the flagship size of My Father's Honduran debut, built entirely on tobacco from the Garcia family's own Finca La Opulencia farm outside the Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper. Corojo and Criollo fillers pair with Honduran binder to deliver a medium to full-bodied profile that opens with cedar, cocoa, and a touch of white pepper, then rounds out with nuttiness, orange rind, and creamy coffee as it settles into its stride. The pace is easygoing rather than aggressive, making it a strong entry point for anyone curious about My Father's house style without wanting a heavyweight.
Impeccable construction carries through the full smoke, with a soft box-press feel and a steady burn from the first third to the last. Bands done up in powdery Honduran blue mark this as the start of a new chapter for the Garcia family, and the flavor lives up to the occasion: balanced, complex, and built for slow enjoyment.
Size: 6" x 54
