A Peruvian Dark Roast Coffee with a Smooth and Sweet Finish
The Peruvian Special from GROSCHE is a 100% organic and Fairtrade Certified™ Peruvian coffee. It is made from 100% Arabica beans and has a smooth, sweet taste with mild bitterness. The Peruvian Special is a dark roast and comes in a 1 pound bag. Many coffee lovers prefer darker roasts because it has a smoother, full flavoured coffee taste compared to light roast coffees.
100% Organic and Fairtrade Certified™
The Peruvian Special is a responsibly grown dark coffee that is 100% organic. It is pure, pesticide and herbicides free and full body of flavour. The Peruvian Special is also Fair trade Certified™ coffee. Fairtrade empowers small-scale farmers and provides them with better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade.
Whole Bean Coffee
We can ship all of our coffee roasts as whole bean coffees. This allows you to custom grind your beans for your preferred brewing method. It also means, that you get the freshest and most aromatic tasting coffee every time. Use a coarse to medium grind for French press and pour over coffee makers and a fine grind for stovetop espresso makers. We also offer different coffee bean grinds but we highly recommend choosing whole bean for the best dark roast coffee.
How to Store your Coffee
We do not recommend to put your dark roast coffee beans into the freezer. Freezing your coffee puts it in contact with moisture which ends up draining it of its flavor. The best place to store your Peruvian Special coffee for high quality coffee is within an airtight container, somewhere cool, dark and dry. This could be a pantry or a cabinet, just as long as it’s somewhere away from heat and light. If you really want to store your coffee on your counter, keep the coffee in a canister that is opaque, airtight, and away from direct sunlight. Use it up within 1-2 weeks of opening to enjoy the fullest aroma and freshest coffee.
