Starlight Spearmint Candy by THE HAMPTON CANDY COMPANY is a two-pound bag of individually wrapped, green-and-white hard spearmint mints offering roughly 150 pieces of crisp, refreshing flavor.
These classic spearmint hard candies pair a cool, clean mint profile with a nostalgic swirled appearance. Packaged in a bulk bag, each mint is individually wrapped for convenience and hygiene, making them suitable for events, counters, candy dishes, and everyday snacking. The bright green and white swirl signals the spearmint flavor inside, and the hard-shell format provides a slow, long-lasting release of mintiness.
How strong is the spearmint flavor and how long does it last?
The spearmint taste is distinctly cool and refreshing without being overpowering; it’s designed for steady enjoyment rather than an intense burn. Because these are hard candies, the flavor unfolds gradually as you dissolve the candy in your mouth.
- Clear spearmint profile with a mild sweetness.
- Hard texture gives extended flavor release.
- Not menthol-heavy — more sweet-spearmint than medicinal.
What occasions are these mints best suited for?
The two-pound bulk bag fits many situations that need convenient, attractive sweets. Individually wrapped pieces are ideal for shared environments where portion control and cleanliness matter.
- Office bowls, reception areas, and checkout counters.
- Party favors, wedding candy stations, and holiday stuffing.
- Pinatas, Halloween sorting, and event giveaways.
How many candies come in a 2-pound bag and how are they packaged?
Expect about 150 spearmint rounds per two-pound bag, though count may vary slightly by manufacturing. Each piece is individually sealed so you can store or distribute them without handling multiple candies directly.
- Approximately 150 individually wrapped spearmint candies.
- Bulk poly bag keeps candies together for storage and transport.
- Individual wrapping preserves freshness and hygiene.
How should I store these candies to keep them fresh?
Keep the sealed bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain sweetness and texture. After opening, reseal or transfer to an airtight container to prevent moisture absorption and flavor loss.
- Store at room temperature away from heat and humidity.
- Use an airtight container after opening for best shelf life.
- Avoid exposure to strong odors and direct sunlight.
