Experience two site-specific expressions from Hardin’s Creek that prove location shapes flavor. The Warehouse G “Owl” edition spent eleven years on the ninth floor of a nine-story rickhouse—one of the tallest on the Clermont campus—enduring dramatic seasonal swings and intense wood interaction. The Warehouse R “Mushroom” edition rested eleven years in a rare single-story, windowless rickhouse, evolving slowly in cool, steady darkness. Both are bottled at 110 proof and showcase distinct personalities for collectors who crave nuance, context, and terroir-like character in bourbon.
Warehouse G “Owl” — High-Rack Elegance
Profile: Layered refinement over raw power.
Tasting notes: Polished oak, dark orchard fruit, maple syrup, and finely ground spice with a whisper of high-rack intensity; richness that builds, balances, and lingers.
Why it matters: Ninth-floor maturation amplifies heat cycles, pushing whiskey deep into oak for complexity without harshness.
Warehouse R “Mushroom” — Low-Rack Serenity
Profile: Deep, calm, understated.
Tasting notes: Generous oak, toasted sweetness, subtle depth, and a measured finish that whispers character rather than shouts.
Why it matters: A cool, windowless, single-story environment slows extraction, yielding a mellow, mature profile with remarkable composure.
